Innovative Benutzungsschnittstellen & Visualisierungstechniken
Das Projekt fastvpn – Netzwerkinfrastruktur für Industrie 4.0 (VPN – Virtual Private Network) adressiert Kernprobleme von Industrie 4.0 bzw. SCADA-Systemen im Umfeld kleiner und mittelständischer Unternehmen mit dem Ziel, sowohl Echtzeitanforderungen bei hohen Datenraten, als auch Sicherheitsbedürfnissen nachzukommen. Es soll eine intuitiv benutzbare Lösung geschaffen werden, welche es möglich macht, den Zugriff auf Geräte, Daten und Funktionen feingranular zu regeln und Datenströme unabhängig vom Anwendungsprotokoll abzusichern. Dazu wird state-of-the-art Kryptographie kombiniert mit Separierung basierend auf Virtualisierung und Mikrokernen. Durch architektonische Entscheidungen bei der Auswahl von bestehenden Algorithmen und Hardware sowie Eigenentwicklungen soll die Echtzeitfähigkeit des Systems sichergestellt werden.
Um die Lösung intuitiv benutzbar zu machen, werden moderne Methoden der Mensch-Maschine-Interaktion und interaktiven Informationsvisualisierung untersucht, evaluiert und umgesetzt. Diese Aspekte, bestehend aus Hard- und Software sowie Algorithmen und Benutzungskonzepten, werden in einer umfassenden Demonstrationsplattform zusammengeführt.
fastvpn findet in Zusammenarbeit mit den Dresdner Firmen Teleconnect GmbH und Kernkonzept GmbH sowie der Professur für Datenschutz und Datensicherheit statt. Weiterhin werden wir durch die Netcom Connected Services GmbH (früher Vattenfall Europe Netcom GmbH) als assoziierten Partner unterstützt. fastvpn ist ein Teilprojekt innerhalb des Cluster-Projektes fast, welches im Rahmen der Fördermaßnahme „Zwanzig20 – Partnerschaft für Innovation“ des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung läuft.

fastvpn Web Konfigurations-Tool
Im Rahmen des Projekts haben wir eine web-basierte Konfigurations- und Monitoring-Anwendung für fastvpn entwickelt. In der ersten Ausbaustufe, vor der Verfügbarkeit der fastvpn-Hardware, besteht die Anwendung aus einem interaktiven Frontend im Responsive-Design und einem prototypischen Server, der simulierte Daten erzeugt.
