Auch dieses Jahr hat das Interactive Media Lab den neuen Studenten der Informatik Studiengänge unserer Fakultät eine kurze Präsentation ihrer aktuellen und vergangenen Forschungsprojekte gezeigt.
Als Teil der diesjährigen ESE zeigte unsere Gruppe am 09.10 in unserem Labor (APB/2046) Projektpräsentation, welche die Vielzahl der von uns verwendeten Hardware und Anwendungsfälle aufzeigen.
Wir präsentierten ältere Forschung wie Informationsvisualisierung von Verbrechensdaten mit mehreren koordinierten Ansichten an der großen Displaywand, aber auch aktuellere Projekte. Zu diesen zählen: PEARL, eine Augmented Reality-Anwendung zur Analyse menschlicher Bewegungen im Museumskontext; PMC-Vis, eine Visualisierung von Berechnungsmodellen; und ein Punktwolkenregistrierungs Tool auf einem holografischen Display.
Wir waren sehr erfreut über das große Interesse der Studierenden und hoffen sie auch in Zukunft wieder zu sehen: entweder in unserem Lehrangeboten, als Abschlussarbeitsstudenten, oder sogar als studentische Hilfskräfte.
