I joined the Interactive Media Lab Dresden in September 2021 in the context of the project “ARAILIS – Augmented Reality and Artifical Intelligence supported Laparoscopic Imagery in Surgery”. The research conducted within the scope of this project revolves around the question of how Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence can be used to support surgeons and healthcare professionals during minimally invasive surgery. Herein, my research focus is on the visualization of pre- and intraoperative data and how to interact with it while taking into account the special circumstances of the operational context.
Furthermore, I am generally concerned with the subject of innovative interaction methods and technology regarding Augmented Reality.
