A warm and stormy Long Night of Science has concluded and the Interactive Media Lab once again participated almost in its entirety. We had the chance to present a diverse cross-section of our research to curious visitors across various ages and professions.
We gave an insight into our Mixed Reality research by demonstrating our Augmented Reality projects CleAR Sight and PEARL. We further showcased our research into the topic of explainability through our projects Evonne, NEXAS and HyperVis. Our expertise in physical computing could be observed in our demonstration of ScaleDial and various other physical data artifacts. Lastly, we illustrated our interest for information visualization through our multiple coordinated view application on our large display wall.
