Die diesjährige ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI) hat in Yokohama, Japan vom 26. April bis 1. Mai stattgefunden.
Das IML Dresden war mit 6 Personen (Raimund Dachselt, Mats Ole Ellenberg, Katja Krug, Weizhou Luo, Julián Méndez, Marc Satkowski) vertreten. Das Lab war ingesamt an drei Full Papern beteiligt wovon eins ein Journal Paper (TOCHI) ist. Des weiteren wurden Beiträge zu 4 Workshops eingebracht, welche sich mit Themen im Bereich Mixed-Reality, KI und Affective Interaction beschäftigt haben. Darüber hinaus hat Julián Méndez als Teil des engagiertem Student Volunteer Team mit für einen reibungslosen Ablauf der Konferenz gesorgt.

Die prestigeträchtige CHI hatte dieses Jahr 5675 Teilnehmer, vor Ort und online (~500). Es wurde 1249 Conference Full Paper (von 5020 eingereichten, Annahmerate: 24,8%) akzeptiert sowie 63 Journal Paper zur Präsentation eingeladen. Damit setzt die CHI den Wachstumstrend der letzten Jahre mit diesen Rekordzahlen fort.
