Am 17. April 2023 hat Wolfgang Büschel seine Dissertation erfolgreich und mit der höchsten Auszeichnung summa cum laude verteidigt.
Das Thema seiner Dissertation „Spatial Interaction for Immersive Mixed Reality Visualizations“ befasst sich mit der Fragestellung wie räumliche Interaktion gewinnbringend in immersiven Visualisierungen eingesetzt und evaluiert werden kann.
Als externen Gutachter seiner Arbeit konnten wir Tim Dwyer von der Monash University, Australien gewinnen, einen der renommiertesten Forscher auf dem Gebiet der Immersive Analytics. Nach der erfolgreichen Disputation haben wir den Tag mit der Arbeitsgruppe und weiteren Gästen gefeiert und ausklingen lassen.
