The popularity of mobile devices has grown fast in the last years, so the number of applications designed for tablets increased. Developing and implementing a multi-touchinterface for visualizations on mobile tablet devices, comes with serveral challenges that were analysed in this work. Previous research presents interaction concepts for specific visualisations, but there is still a lack of radial visualizations. This work expands previous research by presenting serveral concepts towards fluid multi-touch interactions for an interactive star plot. The goal is to improve visualizations by developing natural interaction techniques. In a systematic design process consistent interactions adressing various analysis tasks were created. In addition, star plots were functionally expanded. This work presents a concept for an integration of semi-structured data into star plots. Finally, a prototype was created to demonstrate some of these concepts.
