Description

In this course a complex research-related project is being worked on, which requires competences from several areas of visual computing. The students solve in a group (2-4 persons, depending on the topic) a complex, typically interdisciplinary task in the field of visual computing. In addition, the project requires literature research and the use of scientific information sources. Since the project is realised as a team, not only professional competence is deepened, but also extensive methodological and social skills in project management and teamwork are trained.

Topics

We provide project proposals in OPAL soon. Possible example topics could include:

  • Activity-based Adaptive Information Visualization in Mixed Reality
  • Interactive Visualizations for Explainability of Ontologies
  • Storytelling on Shape-changing Interfaces
  • Recording of Complex Pose Data
  • Transfer Function Specification for Volume Rendering with a Transparent Input Panel
  • Visualization Framework for Unity: Upgrading and Extending the existing Framework u2Vis

You will be able to access them via a OPAL course IMLD Visual Computing Teamproject SS 2022.
However, make sure to follow the official enrollment procedure described below if you are interested in a topic.
