I joined the Interactive Media Lab Dresden in March 2020. Currently I am working within the project “ARAILIS – Augmented Reality and Artifical Intelligence supported Laparoscopic Imagery in Surgery”. The aim of the research is to make Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) usable for surgical interventions in order to improve minimally invasive surgery by combining pre- and intraoperative data. Promising combinations of input and output technologies will be considered to enable collaboration between experts from different fields. My research area combines visualization als well as medical aspects. My focus is on the perceptual presentation of digital or augmented content.
