To interact with a distant device, a user usually has to go to the device first. Within setups with multiple devices or very large ones the user has to alternate his position very often. In such cases or if no touch-based interaction is possible at all, gazeinteraction or freehand gestures can be used. Although gaze and freehand do have limitations. The Midas-touch can occur, due to dwell-times in gaze application, and freehand gestures are exhausting, because of often performed large movements. Therefore both are combined in this thesis. To do so a user-elicitation-study were conducted and a gestureset is been elaborated. Finally the gestureset is been implemented in a prototype.
