It is done! A high-resolution, interactive display wall of Finnish MultiTouch Ltd. now found its place in our lab. After three days of hard work (see the video of the setup) the screwdrivers can rest. Without tools, but with the hands of multiple users, the 5m x 2m wall can be used. Of course, not only multi-touch but also pens and markers (e.g., tangibles) can be used to interact with the 12 displays. Overall, the resolution is ca. 25 million pixels, providing enough room even for very big information spaces. We already started the first research projects and are looking forward to interesting applications with industrial partners running on this display wall. The photo gallery provides a first glance.
